RADIUS and hotspot billing for MikroTik ISPs

Run your hotspot or home internet business on one RADIUS platform.

Connect your MikroTik routers and handle sign-in, plans, vouchers and billing in the same place. A household can share one account across all its devices, and each device signs itself back in.

Multi-device login

One RADIUS account for every device in the house

Many RADIUS hotspot systems allow one device per username and turn the second phone away with "no more sessions allowed". With T-Net, the whole family can use one account at the same time.

How to sell multi-device home plans

1 to 5 devices per plan

You decide how many devices each plan allows, and price it to match.

All online together

Phones, laptops and TVs on the same account connect at once, without knocking each other off.

Customers manage their own devices

From their dashboard, customers can see which devices are on their account, name them and block any they don't recognize.

A limit you can count on

A 3-device plan stays a 3-device plan, and customers are not locked out after a power cut.

What you can do with T-Net

We built T-Net at TechDefense to run our own hotspots and home connections, so these are the parts we rely on every day.

Customers sign in once

T-Net remembers each device for 30 days. When the Wi-Fi drops, it reconnects without the customer typing a password again.

Vouchers in batches

Generate hundreds of codes at once with QR codes, and print them on cards with your own branding.

Sale points that add up

Track every shop and agent selling your vouchers, whether they work on commission or pay upfront. Each collection gets a receipt.

Plans the way you sell

Sell by data, by time or both, at the speed you set. When the data runs out, the connection slows down instead of cutting off.

Reach every router from anywhere

Manage each MikroTik over WireGuard, even without a public IP. New routers get their hotspot, RADIUS and firewall settings from templates.

See who is online

Open any router to see its live sessions. You can disconnect someone or slow their connection down straight away.

Your own login page

Each branch gets a hotspot login page with its own branding, plus space for image banners, such as ads from local businesses.

Alerts on Telegram

Get a message when a router goes offline or comes back, and when the month's figures don't add up.

Reminders before plans end

Customers get an email and an app notification 5 days and 2 days before their plan expires, and again on the day.

Know where every dollar came from

  • Nobody can edit or delete a payment. To fix a mistake you record a reversal, so the history stays complete.
  • On the 1st of each month T-Net prepares every branch's settlement, along with invoices and commission statements as PDFs.
  • Each day it checks payments against real usage and follows every voucher from printing to first use.
  • If a sale point's vouchers mostly get used on another branch's network, T-Net flags it.

For technicians

Fix problems before customers call

  • Check whether a router is up, how long it has been running and who is connected, from wherever you are.
  • Set up a new router from templates. If a step fails, T-Net rolls the changes back.
  • When a router loses power, T-Net closes the sessions it left hanging, so customers can sign back in.
  • Find a customer by username or email while you're out on a job.

  1. 1

    We set up your branch

Your branch gets its own address, like yourbranch.techdefenseinc.com, with your logo and your own login page.

  2. 2

    You connect your routers

Run a short setup script on each MikroTik. The router connects back to T-Net over WireGuard, and we configure the hotspot from there.

  3. 3

    You start selling

Print vouchers, add your sale points and create accounts for home customers. People can be online the same day.

Who can see what

Your customers' browsing goes from your routers straight to the internet. T-Net only receives what it needs for sign-in, usage records and billing.

  • Branches stay apart. Staff sign in at their own branch's address and only see that branch's records.
  • Encrypted router links. T-Net reaches your routers only through an encrypted WireGuard tunnel, never over the open internet.
  • A record of every change. T-Net writes sensitive actions to an audit log. You can reverse a payment, but you can't change it.
  • Backups you can restore. Back up the database and settings from the dashboard, and restore them from the same place.

Questions ISPs ask us

Something else? Ask us on WhatsApp or use the form below.

Can one RADIUS username log in on several devices at once?

Yes. You choose how many devices each plan allows, from 1 to 5, and all of them can be online at the same time. The second phone is not turned away with "no more sessions allowed", and the limit still holds after a power cut.

Is T-Net a replacement for MikroTik User Manager?

Yes, for hotspot and home customers. T-Net runs its own RADIUS server, so your routers only need their RADIUS client pointed at it. Plans, vouchers, devices and billing are all managed in T-Net.

What should I look for in a RADIUS platform for MikroTik?

Check that one username can be used on several devices, that devices reconnect without the customer typing a password again, and that you can reach routers without a public IP. Also ask what happens to sessions left open after a power cut, and whether payments are checked against real usage. Our guide to choosing a RADIUS platform goes through each of these.

Which routers does T-Net work with?

MikroTik routers running RouterOS 7. Each one connects to T-Net over an encrypted WireGuard tunnel, and T-Net sets up its hotspot, RADIUS and firewall from templates.

Do my routers need a public IP address?

No. The router opens the connection to T-Net itself, so it works behind any internet link, including mobile data and shared connections.

Does my customers' internet traffic go through your servers?

No. Browsing goes from your routers straight to the internet, so your customers' speed doesn't depend on our servers. T-Net handles sign-in, usage records, billing and router control.

Can I run several towns or branches?

Yes. Each town can be its own branch, with its own address, staff accounts, login page and reports. One branch can't see another branch's records.

We have an investor funding the network. Can T-Net handle that?

Yes. You can set a branch up as an investor-funded project. Each month T-Net works out what each side is owed and tracks how much of the investment has been paid back.

How do we get started?

Send us a request with the form on this page, or message us on WhatsApp. We'll set up your branch with your logo and login page, help you connect your first router and show your staff around.
